A Little About Us...
Hey, y’all! Welcome to The Buckin’ Palomino Boutique—proudly owned and operated by a mother-daughter duo, Trudie Harris and Joelle Ford. We offer a hand-picked selection of clothing, shoes, jewelry, and more—sourced through our regular trips to the Dallas Market to bring you the latest styles and western trends we truly love.
Since opening in 2022, we’ve taken our boutique on the road—setting up shop at rodeos, horse sales, and even the NFR in Las Vegas! It’s been an amazing journey filled with incredible people and unforgettable memories.
But now, the adventure’s growing even bigger...
We’re so excited to announce our brick-and-mortar location in Zillah, Washington! It’s a dream come true to have a permanent space where we can welcome our local community—while still traveling to events across the Northwest.
The bond between a mother and daughter is one that’s hard to explain unless you’ve lived it. We can go from bickering to belly-laughing in seconds, but one thing stays the same—our unconditional love and support for each other. Starting this business together has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. When one of us needs a hand, the other’s right there. It’s truly a blessing to work with your mom, daughter, and best friend all in one. ♥
Our Back Story...
The Buckin’ Palomino Boutique was born in August 2021, during one of the toughest times in our lives. It was then that we lost our family’s golden beauty, Sister—a palomino mare who meant the world to us.
Sister wasn’t just a horse. She was a teammate, a healer, a fierce competitor, and part of our family. Every time she stepped into the arena, she gave her all. Her strength and spirit continue to inspire us, and we knew we had to carry on her legacy in a meaningful way.
“A favorite by many, palomino horses are known as golden beauties. Their coat color glistens like the sun, while their blonde manes provide a stunning contrast. You’ll find them at rodeos, horse shows, trail rides, and grazing in wild fields. While the color isn’t considered rare, it sure does stand out.”
When you wear something from The Buckin’ Palomino, we hope you feel just as bold, beautiful, and strong as we did every time we rode Sister. ♥
